Facing Competition from Imported Products in the Granite Industry, Multisector Company SPS Corporate Innovates by Entering the National Granite Tile Market Through PT Superior Porcelain Sukses

Based on Jalan Raya Cipendeuy Pabuaran, Kadawung, Pabuaran, Subang Regency, West Java, the inauguration of this factory was marked by the sounding of a siren by the board of directors of SPS Corporate and PT Superior Porcelain Sukses on Thursday (21/4/2024). The factory has a building area of 120,000 m² on a 230,000 m² plot of land.

President Director of PT Superior Porcelain Sukses, Billy Law, stated that the construction of this granite factory is a form of commitment to meet the growing demand in the national granite tile market by offering high-quality products made using the latest technology.

"We are optimistic and ready to compete in the national granite market with sustainably high-quality products, adhering to product quality standards and quality management systems," said Billy.

Billy also emphasized that the granite they produce can compete with imported products. In addition to using the best materials, PT Superior Porcelain Sukses also ensures the best service for customer satisfaction.

"In terms of materials, we have a Domestic Component Level (TKDN), which is an important requirement for domestic construction projects. We also prioritize speed and accuracy in supply, ensuring our products are always in the best condition," he added.

Billy stressed that, in addition to quality, their products are also offered at competitive prices. "Large-scale production allows us to reduce costs, making the selling price more competitive," he explained.

PT Superior Porcelain Sukses targets a production capacity of up to 21 million m² per year. This is supported by 1,000 skilled workers and an electricity capacity of 20 megawatts. Billy added that the granite tiles they produce are not only strong and durable but also aesthetically pleasing.

"We have obtained SNI ISO 13006:2010 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications. This demonstrates our commitment to producing high-quality and innovative products, as well as caring for the environment by implementing eco-friendly practices," Billy explained.

Senior Vice President of IAPMO Group Indonesia, Shirley Dewi, appreciated the presence of PT Superior Porcelain Sukses. "Amid competition with imported products, this granite has the quality to compete in the global market," said Shirley.

At its launch, PT Superior Porcelain Sukses produced several types of granite tiles, including homogeneous tiles and glazed porcelain tiles. Homogeneous tiles are dense, hard, and stain-resistant, while glazed porcelain tiles are coated with glaze, providing an aesthetic look for floors and walls.

The company also introduced four premium brands with B1A quality: Ara Granite, which offers an elegant classic touch; Aurora Granite, creating a bright and warm atmosphere; and Rexton Granite, introducing dynamic modern textures.
